Day 1: Cusco – Biking – Santa María
  • 07:45 – 08:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying breathtaking mountain views and the vibrant Andean landscapes.
  • Arrive at Abra Málaga (4,350 m.a.s.l.). Take in panoramic vistas of snowcapped peaks before starting your first adrenaline-packed activity.
  • Downhill mountain biking (~4 hours). Descend through diverse ecological zones, crossing rivers, tropical vegetation, and cloud forests, while feeling the thrill of an adventure like no other.
  • Arrival in Santa María (1,200 m.a.s.l.) in the late afternoon, where you’ll relax and unwind after an exciting day.
  • Overnight stay in a comfortable family lodge surrounded by the lush jungle.
Day 2: Trekking Santa María – Santa Teresa
  • Early breakfast. Begin trekking along the Urubamba River, following sections of the ancient Inca trail. Spot exotic birds such as parrots, hummingbirds, and eagles, as well as orchids, medicinal plants, and tropical fruit crops including bananas, mangoes, coffee, and coca.
  • Lunch in Quellomayo, a small Andean town.
  • Continue trekking to Santa Teresa hot springs, where you can soak in the natural thermal waters and rejuvenate.
  • Overnight stay in a family lodge in Santa Teresa.
Day 3: Trekking Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes
  • Breakfast and optional morning dip in natural pools.
  • Trek towards the Hydroelectric Station, enjoying riverside scenery and jungle views, followed by lunch.
  • Scenic 2-hour walk along train tracks to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
  • Accommodation in hotel/lodge, dinner included. Free evening to explore the town.
Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
  • 04:00 AM: Hike or take the optional bus up to Machu Picchu for a magical sunrise.
  • Guided 2-hour tour exploring the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Sacred Rock, and Temple of the Condor.
  • Free time to explore or hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (tickets not included).
  • Return by bus to Aguas Calientes, then train to Ollantaytambo and transfer back to Cusco.
