With its fertile soil, pleasant climate, and abundant water sources from the Vilcanota River, this valley sustained the Empire, producing the finest corn and serving as a key route to the tropical lowlands. Its significance endures today, reflected in breathtaking landscapes, vibrant communities, and majestic archaeological wonders.
